This is the new version of my Battle-Ready Noldor Deck. The idea here was to be able to play as much cards as possible turn 1 but with keeping the aptitude to combat of the previous deck.
Mulligan Mulligan for either A Good Harvest or Song of Kings. It will allow you to play the resources cards. Since there is 5 of theses cards in the deck, it is highly probable that you have one or another in your hand after a mulligan.
Resource The resource part of the deck is quite self-explanatory but it requires that you are able to play cards. That is why the mulligan is especially important.
A Very Good Tale contributes also to economy either by playing free allies or by being discarded with Arwen Undómiel
Draw/Discard Well of course you have Erestor.
Daeron's Runes, Deep Knowledge are there primarily for turn 1 draw and are usually cards to discard after that.
The engine Steward of Gondor / Elven-light is fueling your hand with cards to play and to discard after turn 1.
The deck is empty quite rapidly with this version.
Healing In this version of the deck, one of the Imladris Caregiver let room for Ioreth and Warden of Healing.
With this version of the deck, we can have 3 resources per turn. (Ring of Barahir on Aragorn + discard of Arwen Undómiel + resource of Erestor) That means we can heal up to 7 damages per turn (3 by Ioreth and 2+2 by Warden of Healing).
Questing Questing is assured by Arwen Undómiel and a lot of 2 Allies. It is boosted by Lords of the Eldar and Sword that was Broken.
It is quite fun when you play 2 Lords of the Eldar and when the Sword is in place ! +3 on each Noldor !
Threat Management Maybe the weak point of the deck, we begin at 31 and have only 2 Elrond's Counsel to reduce that.
Combat Combat has not changed much since the first version of the deck. But you are able to deal with huge enemies with this deck :)
Aragorn the tank Aragorn is even more resilient in this version of the deck. With Raiment of War, Sword that was Broken, Ring of Barahir, Magic Ring, we have a hero that can be readied defending at 3, attacking at 4 with 10 hit points !
Big up to Shep for his original "Babiole" concept !
