The inspiration for this deck was Felswrath's Fangorn and Faramir deck found here: http://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/8502/fangorn-and-faramir-1.0, which uses Faramir to ready ents as they come into play. I decided I wanted to explore this strategy further by using Gandalf and Narya to ready and enhance a couple of ents each round.
I also thought it would be a great thematic deck - Merry and Pippin reuniting with Gandalf in Fangorn and rousing the ents' anger.
This deck is a lot of fun to play. The goal is to get Narya on our white wizard as soon as possible (Word of Command) and then bring in as many ents as possible each round using resources generated from our heroes, Gandalf's Staff and Treebeard.
I tend to play A Burning Brand and Ent Draught on either the Wellinghall Preservers or Wandering Ents and then ready them with Narya.
The Rohan Warhorses and Fast Hitchesare exclusively for Merry's use to make sure you get plenty of attacks with a pumped-up Booming Ent.
