I decided to do little experiment and try how many attempts I will need to win 5 times with deck, also using progressive play, so only the cards, which were available at that time, when scenario was out. This is #11: Into the Pit

Basically I tried to built here my first thematic dwarf deck, to test as much dwarf allies as possible plus few extra cards, which looked good for the scenario, or had worked well with dwarf cards. So in this scenario, the white counsel sent you to Moria to check out how Balin is doing. So beside dwarfs I also added few elves and humans sent as companions to our dwarf heroes.

Dáin Ironfoot is the driving force of this deck, powering most of his allies and supporting , and , bearing the Cave torch. Narvi's Belt, both songs and Steward of Gondor are for him. A Burning Brand is also for him, cause mostly at beginning he must defend. He is also the one, who is dealing with treacheries as Watchful Eyes. Bifur is the main quester, mostly using his action to take resource from Dain. Dwalin is the main attacker and both Dwarven Axe and Dwarrowdelf Axe are for him, also the Unexpected Courage.

Allies:

All dwarfs are boosted by Dain, so nothing much to say about it, it works nicely. Rivendell Minstrel can search also for Durin's Song this time and combination of actions from Gildor Inglorion and Zigil Miner can provide resources if needed. Standard cards for Gandalf here again: Sneak Attack and Born Aloft.

I won this game 5 times in 7 attempts and I got sudden pitfall twice as game opener :)
