Mulligan for the Steward of Gondor and it should go on Gimli to generate resources. You can even p[lay Steward of Gondor first turn if you get an Unlikely Friendship.

This deck is the attack and defense engine for the paired decks.

Attack You basically want to get as much out as quickly as possible with this deck and get Gimli nice and wounded too. Take baddies and leave them undefended so Gimli can soak up wounds and then crush them. Dúnedain Cache allows Gimli to kill stuff on the other side of the board. You will want to put Cram, Citadel Plate, and Dwarrowdelf Axe on Gimli as quickly as possible to beef him up.

As a nice backup attack (and to help your partner) play 2 Bow of the Galadhrim on Legolas or Marksman of Lórien whichever happens to show. Then they can Quick Strike across the board for 7 attack!

Very little should live 2 turns. Gang up and destroy as quickly as possible.

Defense

Primarily smaller attacks will go undefended and the damage end up on Gimli. Your partner will help him heal with Lembas. Both your Gondorian Spearman and Longbeard Sentry provide great defense for you and your paired deck.

Feint will help you out in a pinch, but remember that a dead enemy doesn't get to attack! Quick Strike is even better than Feint with many of your attackers.

Questing

Because your partner deck is playing Dáin Ironfoot you will be questing for 8 first turn. After that you will have to decide if Gimli quests or not. Or use Naith Guide to let him quest and attack!

Your will not increase a ton throughout the game but don't worry your partner deck will be increasing rapidly and you will see a moderate increase over time.
