This is a multiplayer deck meant to combat location lock. It's likely overkill for two players, I would only recommend it in a location heavy 3 player or 4 player quest.
The goal is to just draw like mad until you get a decent sized hand. Then you drop the Longbeard bomb.
Longbeard lets you mill the top two cards of your deck every phase. These means that in combination with your massive card draw, your deck can disappear in the span of 2-3 turns.
Once your deck is empty you should be able to recur The Evening Star every round for 6 progress for the rest of the game.
Example: You have an empty deck, and 1 Evening Star in hand. Play Evening Star, make 6 progress. Then play Galadhrim Weaver and put Evening Star back on top of your deck.
Next turn you can do the same thing. Just play another Weaver or pull your Weaver back with The Tree People and play her again.
Scroll of Isildur lets you do the same thing. If you foresee the game lasting many rounds, you can use the Weaver to recur the the Scroll of Isildur for an extra 2 uses of Evening Star for every Weaver.
The allies Mablung and Quickbeam are just here to make sure you can contribute to questing and combat a little bit. No big deal if you end up milling them.
Leave No Trace is to make sure locations like Mithlond Harbour never show their ugly face again. Feel free to substitute it for other cards if there is no such location in the deck.

But now, there's also the ally version ^^ Anyway :
Hope to play with you to see this deck in action if you want ;) cheers. |
May 19, 2016Yeah people have grown a bit tired of Spirit Glorfindel it seems. Time for Lorefindel to make a comeback! |
May 19, 2016I totally agree, seastan! I actually prefer Lorefindel. |
The combo looks very sweet but good luck trying to convince a 3-4 player group to let you bring lore Glorfindel!
