This deck started by building around Charge into Battle. It’s an expensive card so we need resources. That led to a mono tactics build and Mablung. Generate resources with Mablung in multiple phases - Aragorn's ability lets you engage in the combat phase and Dúnedain Hunter let’s you engage in planning. Some quests even force you to engage enemies in Quest or Travel phases if you’re lucky ;). Resources usually aren’t as big an issue now so I added in some other high cost cards like Hour of Wrath for more action advantage and Gandalf, Legolas and Keen as Lances for card draw or threat reduction.

This decks main purpose is to destroy all the enemies by either taking them from the staging area or from other players to finish them off. Aragorn starts with The One Ring and Strength and Courage to get his attack up. He can effectively attack for 8 with his defense lowering ability (however this ability won’t work for enemies in the staging area). Put the Rohan Warhorse on him (extras go on Merry) or attack with Merry to let Aragorn attack multiple times. Use the The Ring of Power to ready him if needed.

I also tried to include allies with decent willpower so the deck can provide some questing. It’s almost solo-able, just needs some more willpower. Damage can be a problem too so it pairs well with a questing / healing deck.

Charge into battle is basically a super-charged Hands Upon the Bow to clear out the staging area before quest resolution. I’ve played this deck against some of the newer quests where enemies gather in the staging area and you want them out (like The River Running and The Wainriders). It's especially good in the Wainriders quest as you can clear the staging area to slow down the Champion.

Charge into Battle seems like good tech against those pesky Stray Goblins as well. Looks like you have resources under control, but Good Meal is another option to pay for those big events.

@Denison That’s a great idea. I’ve never played that card before but seems like a good fit here. Thanks.
