This is a grief deck designed to go with its companion (see fellowship). Galadriel uses her ability to keep your threat low with all the Doomed from the other deck. Denethor and his son are included because I want the resource icon on them. Denethor also gives a small resource boost.

Here is a rundown of each card in the deck:

Allies:

Dúnedain Hunter combos with Reinforcements (see below).

Radagast can heal Creature enemies (like Mumaks) other players want killed.

•Use Keen-eyed Took to deck out other players quickly.

Attachments:

In Service of the Steward lets you transfer resources to Galadriel with Denethor's ability.

Mariner's Compass lets you switch out beneficial locations with nasty ones.

•Card draw can be an issue, so I threw in one Rod of the Steward.

•Volunteer to go first and Steward-block everyone else in the game.

•Recycle all sorts of fun events with your Tome of Atanatar.

•Use Mirror of Galadriel and Silver Harp in conjunction to find the best griefing card for the situation.

•Play Unexpected Courage on Faramir so you can defend and attack.

•The deck runs on Song of Kings. Play it on Galadriel and you are able to play Reinforcements, and then put your second copy on another player's hero with a ton of resources and use Parting Gifts to steal all of them.

Events:

•When your companions are about to make a quest push to victory despite your best efforts, drop Doom Hangs Still and skip questing.

•Since you're sending nobody to the quest, your threat may go up, but Ever Onward will solve that.

Legacy of Númenor for the Doomed 4.

Parting Gifts combos with Song of Kings.

•Once you have Song of Kings in play, you can use Reinforcements to send 2 Dunedain Hunters to another player during the encounter phase. They get two extra enemies and you get your Hunters back before they can help in combat.

The Galadhrim's Greeting to reduce your own threat by 6.

Shadow of the Past can put nasty encounter cards back on top of the deck.

I ended up deriving this from gopher79's grief deck, but I included several of the suggestions others had posted. Don't forget there's a companion deck helping this one to grief.

This seems like a good pair of decks to use at this year's GenCon- can two grief decks bring down ten normal ones? We'll see. We'll see...
