A thematic-ish journey through the Dwarrowdelf cycle.

Following the dramatic loss of Dwalin to the Watcher, Bilbo Baggins steps up into a leading role.

There is plenty of card draw in this deck - Daeron's Runes, Gléowine, Ancient Mathom, Legacy of Durin, Peace, and Thought, plus Bilbo Baggins himself. This helps get set-up quickly, but also gives you plenty of ammunition for the Locate tests in this scenario.

This is also the reason for running Shadow of the Past. If you know a Locate test is coming up, you can put one of those elusive PASS cards on top of the encounter deck!

This deck also has plenty of location control, from Core Set staple Secret Paths to the lesser-spotted Ally Bombur, who really gets his moment to shine in scenarios like this set entirely underground. We also have Thrór's Key for those dangerous Branching Paths, which would otherwise buff all locations in staging!

Fast Hitch and A Burning Brand allow Bilbo to pull some emergency defence duty, though you are advised to get him buffed with attachments from the other deck before you rely on him regularly.

The Erebor Record Keeper - Bifur combo for action advantage also makes it in, which gives you and the other deck the upper hand in most combat phases.
