A thematic-ish journey through the Dwarrowdelf cycle. Having made their way through the Western mines, the company come to an underground stream...
Given the dramatic effects of stage 3, the deck focuses on attachments which won't get discarded - notably signals, conditions, and (in standard mode) artifacts.
CelebrĂan's Stone is too good to miss out on, however, as is Sword that was Broken, especially for that Stage 5 when the number of characters you can quest with is restricted based on the number of heroes you commit. This is also where Rear Guard can come in handy, sacrificing a Snowbourn Scout to give your heroes +1.
Rivendell Bow and DĂșnedain Cache are there specifically to tech against the Moria Bats.
In terms of allies, Weather Hills Watchman helps pull out those signal attachments you rely on. Keen-eyed Took and Longbeard Sentry can help against the Nameless things - you can discard that high-cost card from the top of your deck if you fear a Nameless Thing will appear! Speaking of which, if you are lucky you might be able to insta-kill one with Fresh Tracks, or at least stop it engaging for a turn.
The other cards are reasonably standard - but a special shout-out to Brok Ironfist, who is here for that moment when you draw Lost and Alone. Just hope he doesn't get attached to an Elder Nameless Thing!
