Imagine it was only Gandalf who came to the aid of Kahliel and his tribe – and in rare cases, for inexplicable reasons – also Treebeard.
This is yet another obvious attempt to build the perfectly themed Harad deck with the help of The Grey Wanderer contract – but please appreciate the double meaning of “Grey Wanderer” in this particular deck.
This is by no means a power deck, but it's fun to play with a bunch of interesting decisions. Despite its weakness, I managed to beat all six thematically fitting scenarios from the Haradrim cycle, but most needed multiple attempts. The Dungeons of Cirith Gurat is a particularly demanding puzzle, playing with zero heroes for a while…
Mulligan for Steward of Gondor and as many Timely Aid as possible. For faster scenarios, replace Strength of Arms (so much fun late game with a swarm of Haradrim) with The One Ring and Power of Command. Fur multiplayer, Shadowfax and perhaps Flame of Anor are interesting completions of Gandalf's toolbox.
