This is Michael's second major revision of his first deck, and I'd say it's a nice improvement! The cornerstone of the deck remains as Treebeard, since we have a total of 18 ent allies as well as 6 ent support cards, making up a good half of the deck. Drawing into Treebeard at the beginning would be ideal for his passive resource income, but Heed the Dream, Peace, and Thought, Damrod's trap-card-draw, and natural use of Pippin's ability should make it possible to find him in due time.
I think ideal use of the deck would involve hiding in the trees and not attracting too much attention, snaring enemies in the staging area (Damrod card draw), sneaking up on one enemy at a time (optional engage for Pippin card draw), giving your ents time to be ready for a major push. Beregond will be very busy on defensive duty in the initial stages (probably on both halves of the board depending on where the high- enemies are).
There are some unexpectedly great combos with Elf-stone, Glamdring, and Woodmen's Path which comes up on occasion. There's also some nice synergies between the ent cards that we'll be making use of. We haven't really playtested this yet so we'll be on the lookout for more interesting combos, especially with things like Derndingle Warrior and Boomed and Trumpeted.
It's good to keep a Master of the Forge at home forging away every turn in hopes of getting the attachments you need. I think Glamdring is rather crucial for that attack buff for Damrod. I am noticing that Athelas and A Burning Brand don't have obvious uses right now, so Michael, you might want to look into that :P
