Intro: I've tried to build a strong deck around Thorin Oakenshield.
Strength:
- Very balanced deck (got healing Healing Herbs, extra cards Daeron's Runes and Ancient Mathom), extra resources from Thorin Oakenshield or Steward of Gondor, activating heroes with Erebor Record Keeper.
Weakness:
- The opening hand is crucial, in some games it was difficult to reach a 5 dwarf threshold that activates Thorin Oakenshield ability and the games became quite frustrating.
- Low attack, most of the allies got 1 attack, it was tough to beat strong enemies.
Best Combo/Cards:
- Steward of Gondor with Bifur, the extra resources can be spend on allies abilities or Rumour from the Earth
- Kili and Fili were crucial for getting more dwarfs
- Untroubled by Darkness was a great help for boosting
- Hardy Leadership have a huge impact once I got plenty of dwarfs
Medium/Low Cards:
- all cards worked fine.
Final Thoughts: The deck worked fine but I liked more a deck led by Dáin Ironfoot
