This is a mono leadership deck, but it includes 5 non-Leadership Silvan allies that can be played during combat by Thranduil. He can then do useful tricks with The Elvenking combined with Galion. It probably makes sense to put Steward of Gondor on Thranduil, so he'll get the benefit of For Gondor! and have more resources to pay for Daughter of the Nimrodel (which you can only put in play during the Combat phase).
This uses a classic combo of Sneak Attack and Gandalf, which allows you to get the powerful benefit of Gandalf's arrival for a mere cost of 1 resource.
You should also have good card draw from Brand son of Bain's power, and the 3x Valiant Sacrifice.
You can certainly make a pretty good Dale focused deck or a Silvan focused deck, but I thought it would be easiest to start off with a (mostly) mono color deck.
