I used this deck for the second quest of my Hobbit Campaign. I am going to try and keep it as thematic as possible, stemming from the 'What If?' of 'What if Saruman engaged Bilbo for the Quest for Erebor?'
After escaping the clutches of the Trolls and spending a few days in Rivendell, Thorin's Company attempt the High Pass crossing the Misty Mountains. However, there are much more great and terrible things on those Mountains than any of them had realized, and much more deadly creatures under them than the Company had feared.
This deck will be going up a quest that brings out not only big enemies with high attack and hit points, but also lots of smaller, weaker enemies. Versatility is key therefore, and as such we have brought Dori. He can lend his to another hero, specifically Balin in this quest, so that we can successfully defend against the bigger enemies, while giving him Unexpected Courage and using Erebor Record Keeper so that he can do this for multiple attacks, defend one himself or counterattack when he gets the chance. Mulligan for Mighty Warrior so that when you find Raiment of War you can increase his utility in multiple roles and employ his stats however is best for you at the time. Ring Mail and Golden Belt will make him a decent defender in his own right, though again it is the versatility of Dori that will be key to this quest.
In the second half of the quest you will be facing swarms of Goblins, and this is where Dwalincomes into his own. Erebor Record Keepers keep him going, paid for by Bifur, and putting both Dwarrowdelf Axes on him will let him have effectively 6 which will let you reliably drop your threat each turn by more than you are raising it. Bifur should be given Narvi's Belt so that you can keep playing your cards in this deck, giving him extra resources with Zigil Miner and Hidden Cache.
Here we have the 'rank and file' of Thorin's Company. These Dwarves are not the heroes of the story, but without them the quest would surely have failed long before they even crossed the Misty Mountains. Saruman is still with them, guiding their paths and helping them out of the odd tough spot here and there, but it is the efforts of the regular members of the Company that are reflected here.
