Switching Fatty Bolger for Spirit Merry and Folco Boffin for Lore Pippin will give you the classic starter Hobbit line up. Classic for a reason, it's very effective and fun! Let the community know if you've found a clever way to make Fatty Bolger do anything but harm your chances of winning, it would revolutionize the Hobbit archetype! :)

Merry would definitely be good here, but I don't own him. What I could do though is add Glorfindel instead of Fatty Bolger.

Good idea! Or, if you want to stay all Hobbit heroes, you could consider reworking the deck by replacing the spirit cards with tactics toys and tricks while switching Fatty Bolger with Tactics Merry

I would swap Folco Boffin for Pippin, and I would cut altogether and add Merry. And Good Meal is always good in a Hobbit deck.

@Truck Of course. Good meal would be great. I'll try out Pippin later in this deck. Cutting though, would mean no threat reduction besides Gandalf who is already more likely to be killing an enemy. The reason I went with Folco Boffin is because I get a couple more turns in secrecy than with Pippin.

The tactic cards would also be a good idea.

@GreenWizard Oh, i did not see Secrecy, Folco Boffin makes sense now, Merry i think is the most important hero in hobbit decks, he is the only one who can attack!

Don't get me wrong Merry's really good, but I just wanted to use some other hobbits instead.
