herochoice is good but to optimize the contract i would:

Shining Shield is better (cheaper and all can have it). would at least add 1 Hauberk of Mail. Valiant Sword and Dagger of Westernesse willl also help to fasten the contract. (first retricted is 1 cheaper so the 1-cost are free) would perhaps add some Miruvor and perhaps Cram

The One Ring + Inner Strength gives you a starting restricted and good defenseboost from the start.

so, i would cut:

• 2 herugrim (is nice but not mandatory. legolas with weapons and be radied by gimli will do the mainfighting)
• 2 narvis belt, the mainthing is to flip the contract fast, everything else will is more or less bonus
• 2 dwarven shield too expensie. takes 2 rounds to paid himself, shining shield is better at nobles
• 2 days rising (yea combo with heir of mardil or dwarven shield is nice, but still a combo hard to get with low carddraw
• 1 strider
• 1thorongil
• 1-2 armored destrider, they are good but more than 1 are dead cards on hand
• 1 Fair and Perilous
• 1 Untroubled by Darkness
• 1 Asfaloth (how do u want to play it?) -1 Light of Valinor

would add: (The One Ring + Inner Strength if no one else need it)

• 3 Dagger of Westernesse
• 3 Shining Shield
• 3 Valiant Sword
• 3 A Test of Will
• 3 Foe-hammer
• 1 Snowmane

if playing multiplayer, i would left the steward to another player and take 2 Khazâd! Khazâd! or Sterner than Steel or cram or miruvor for it.

this way you have the possibility to get the contract 1. round but relatively safe 2. round
