So, the new Thengel is amazing. This deck helps showcase the new response of his. The new Need Brooks No Delay is also a power card. Both cards allow you to put Rohan cards into play. This is free for Thengel, and 1 for Need Brooks No Delay providing you meet the condition (which is every card but Westfold Lancer). This essentially guarantees a Rohan Swarm. I have never had Thengel's ability whiff with the amount of allies included. During one of my test runs I was able to put two Rohan allies into play turn one via the new event. Of course, Horn of the Mark just benefits all the more from Thengel. The combos in this deck are seemingly endless.

Thengel: He gets Golden Shield and Snowmane. He will serve as a defender.

Eomer: should get Firefoot and Light-footed Steed. He is buffed pretty much every round by the various abilities.

Eowyn: She gets her Windfola and Horn of the Mark. She's the obvious quester. Better yet, she allows you to start at 27 which is essential for the early swarm.

Other new stuff: Deeping Defender helps with resource smoothing. Squire of the Mark helps with the discard synergy, sort of like a 'lite' Gamling. Light-footed Steed allows everyone to quest securely so long as you know you'll be discarding to take advantage of both Thengel and Eomer's abilities. Théodwyn basically costs 2 and is a good quester.

I love deckbuilding so I tend to add in "extra" cards in the sideboard that I know I'll end up swapping in some quests. One particular note is using Keen as Lances with Squire of the Mark in replacement for The Galadhrim's Greeting. The Squire also helps you to use Helm! Helm! more efficiently.

I tested this minimally so far - only against Journey along the Anduin and Into Ithilien. It crushed JATA and performed well against Into Ithilien. Still, I'd love to hear thoughts about improving this even more.

Rohan now officially feels tier one and I love it!

Love it!

@Truck @GreenWizard thanks. Thengel works well in many archetypes but I just love him in a pure Rohan deck. I also just realized in missing Morwen Steelsheen, oops!

The new ALeP cards are amazing!

Yeah, I agree with @GreenWizard about the ALeP cards, it's unfortunate that they aren't official, but I honestly don't care about that, the ALeP guys are headed by the One-And-Only Seastan, so I can feel good about using them.

As this game is a coop game that can be played however you like, (I don't see the encounter deck crying about cheating or the like) the new cards are a welcome addition and I don't care that they are fanmade.

@LazR11 Hahaha, good point.
