jvader has a newer deck inspired by this one: rejiggered super extremely strait shot

the goal of this deck is to lower enemy defences and use Straight Shot to discard them. with aragorn's ability, Beorn's Rage and two Rivendell Blade you can get -7 on an enemy. their are not non-unique enemy with more than 7 defence though some have an X defence value. all the other cards are things i thought were useful in staying alive while unleashing strait shots. if you have Book of Eldacar ,which i do not, swap that in. Any ideas are welcome.some enemies have and X defence value

consider Galadhrim Weaver if you have them, can reshuffle Straight Shot back into the deck after use.

Nori could also get Straight Shot back into your deck, although you'd need a way of shuffling your deck afterwards, or tutoring for it. Failing that, I think Will of the West is probably the only other way of recurring it beyond what's already been suggested.

because the deck is very combat oriented i dont think it will need more that maybe two straight shots per game. it's mostly focusing on killing things like hallofbeorn.com out of the way

I realize it seems to go against the theme of using Straight Shot, but it's more of a parallel strategy: take into account that you could use Elf-friend to give Grimbeorn the Old the Rivendell Blades so that when he counter attacks with it's own ability he will be attacking an enemy with - 7 Defense. You could add The One Ring (with a Golden Belt) and Strength and Courage to have him attack for 7 too. Or maybe one Rivendell Blade and one War Axe to get him to 10 Attack
