Thorsen 45

The goal of this deck is to beat the Land of Shadow saga expansion with other three players. I arrived at this point of the campaign with a Pippin Sam Gamgee and Tom Cotton hobbit deck. Tom is now a very good defender with the Tireless Ranger and Forewarned cards on him and hopefully he will get Sting soon or later. I wanted to switch on a blue/red deck because "the passage of the marshes" is a very tricky quest with many heavy shadows effect and treachery cards; we also got a lot of treacherys from the previous adventures of the saga. I know that Sam Gamgee in his spirit version is not great but he got the Lorien Rope so i need to keep it but i also need to have spirit heroes. I decided to give to Pippin a bit of rest and i replaced him with Lanwyn. I think she is avery good hero because there is a lot of Surge in this quest, in addition to this i feel that, as a group, we need more ranged power so she and the Galadhon Archer can support very well the other "combat oriented decks". As last thing i want to try the North Realm Lookout allies; on the paper they are very good, i want to give them some item, maybe the Spare Pipe or the Bow of Yew and hopefully a Wild Stallion.

Some suggestion?

Healing is very useful in Journey to the cross-roads. I s another deck that someone is playing with using a hero and has a bit of healing?

Also, how are you going to pay for Rosie Cotton? All I can see is Raise the Shire, but that returns the ally to your hand.

FYI, Wild Stallion is a Mount, not an Item attachment, so it does not trigger North Realm Lookout's effect, though it still is quite useful on him.

Rosie Cotton comes in Play through his father ( Tom Cotton ) ability. I tryied the first scenario alone and i won at the first try . 44 threat ( playing two The Galadhrim's Greeting ) and 15 turns, zero wounds on characters . The third part of the scenario is heavy ; no progress on the main quest if at least one player is engaged with An undead. Alone is ok; i managed to kill at least An undead per turn but in four player i think It will be very frustrating

@Thorsen, Ah, forgot Tom's effect. Sorry for my foolish mistake.

Congratulations on your Dead Marshes win, I wonder if this deck can beat Journey to the cross-roads, that quest is quite hard.
