This deck is a really powerful dwarf swarm deck that has beaten all three of the Heirs of Númenor Nightmare quests. Fili and Kili are vital as chump blockers as you can chump both with one in your hand and drop them back down next turn. Narvi's Belt and Steward of Gondor go on Dain Ironfoot so he can pay for the and dwarfs and the and dwarfs if necessary. You want to see Legacy of Númenor in your opening hand to be able to quickly play down your dwarfs and hit the 5 dwarf threshold as early as possible.

Ideal opening hand: Legacy of Númenor(x2), Kili, Glóin, Erebor Record Keeper, Legacy of Durin, Dwalin.

Drop down both Legacy of Númenor and Legacy of Durin. Play Kili and grab Fili. Play Glóin giving resources to Nori for Dwalin. Then you play Erebor Record Keeper. This yields -4 threat negating most of the negatives of the two Legacy of Númenors and +4 cards allowing you to possibly play more on turn one.

A Very Good Tale with Fili and Kili can provide a huge boost to the swarm dropping another two dwarfs down almost guaranteed.

Thanks - having lots of fun with this one playing through the Grey Havens quests - I haven't had to play Legacy of Numenor yet but the inclusion is smart to get the engine up and running.

@captainace: What, if anything, do you use in your sideboard with this deck? I am trying Bofur and several player side quests. Would you consider ally Bombur or other location control cards in Khazad-Dum quests for example?
