A deck that attempts to make Dori into the ultimate hero! Not really, but there are some fun shenanigans you can pull of with him and the new Beregond. Together, they can block a Hill Troll turn one, which is not nothing. Arwen Undómiel is there to boost Defense. All the allies are basically there for will or attack. The defense is handled by Beregond and Dori.

So where is the fun? Beregond can lower your threat every time he defends an attack and suffers no damage. With one Gondorian Shield he defends for 6. But what about enemies with Attack greater than 6? Dori can add his defense. And while it may not seem like the best idea to use two heroes to defend one attack sometimes it will save your bacon.

There's resource acceleration in the for of Steward of Gondor and The Day's Rising. Dori makes a good target because it will give him the Gondor trait to increase the defense of Gondorian Shield putting him at 4 defense. Both Dori and Beregond should get an Armored Destrier. This will let them do multiple defenses and either defend again or attack.

A great turn would be pulling two enemies down from the staging area with Halbarad. Dori defends the weakest enemy and readies with Destrier. Beregond defends a stronger enemy, using Dori's defense if needed. He'll drop your threat and ready with his Destrier. Then they can all attack back. Remember, you can keep a weaker enemy around to have a consistent threat reduction and trigger for Halbarad.

The rest of the stuff is pretty standard, playing off sentinel. As always, it's built with one Core set.
