This deck was inspired by the idea that Galadriel works well with a faction that spits out allies. What better faction than dwarves? Then, I thought about how much I love a good lore/spirit dwarf deck, which can spit out allies and, with the help of Nori, never even raise its threat.

Then I realized that with Galadriel working in tandem with Nori, this deck could easily end the game 5 threat points lower than it started. Then I started having fun with it.

In its present incarnation, this deck is designed to drop your threat like crazy, amass a legion of dwarves in the process, and get Gandalf onto the table, able to quest, attack and defend all in the same round (with just a little help from Shadowfax).

Play as many dwarves as you can to keep threat low. Use Galadriel often to further lower threat and draw. After a few rounds, get Gandalf into play and work toward beefing him up with Shadowfax and Gandalf's Staff. Nenya allows Galadriel to smooth out the resources, and aid in questing (giving her Unexpected Courage enables her to use Nenya and then lower your threat later in the turn). Mirror of Galadriel can help retrieve any essential pieces that are missing, but is not a tremendously important part of the deck. Protector of Lórien makes use out of extra uniques. The combination of Zigil Miner and Imladris Stargazer also allows you to make use of cards you don't need anymore, turning them into cold, hard resources. While this deck is mainly a questing deck, once Gandalf is on the table it can certainly hold its own in combat.

I hope you have fun! Feel free to share suggestions for how you have made it better!

**NB: in its published form, the deck is designed to be used with only one core set. If you have the luxury of more than one, add in extra copies of Unexpected Courage, and Protector of Lórien.
