DazeMan 717

When Dain Ironfoot, King Under the Mountain, needs to send out a trusty dwarf on a mission of secrecy, he calls upon none other than Dwalin, the great orc slayer. Upon answering the call from the king, Dwalin invites trusty friends, whom no one else knows are his acquaintances, Glorfindel and Éowyn. Led by the blue bearded dwarf, the party seeks to secretly make there way through the most dangerous of orc slaying attacks in Middle-Earth.

00Dwalin is a deck that seeks to complement [Dwalin]'s(/card/03001) ability, which has been overshadowed by another Dwarf who will remained unnamed. [Dwalin]'s(/card/03001) use is pretty quest specific so he does not fit in a whole ton of decks unless they are heavily laden with enemies of the Orc kind.

Starting within the threshold of secrecy, thanks to [Éowyn]'s(/card/145002) ability, Resourceful is a great card to have in a starting hand. In the early game, Dwalin can be set up as an adept defender with Ring Mail. To keep threat low and try to stay beneath the secrecy threshold, use Dwalin to participate in those attacks that will destroy an orc enemy, and if Skinbark hits the table, this becomes extremely easy. Staying in secrecy and having multiple copies of Resourceful out can keep this deck rolling and remain pretty powerful, even in quests that might not have many orc enemies.

Glorfindel and Éowyn, do what they do best, QUEST. And Glorfindel can team up in the attacking process once he gets the invaluable Light of Valinor.

This is not the most powerful deck out there, nor even close to being top tier, but it is fun to try to find a use for a hero, who is collecting dust in most of our binders, Dwalin, the Orc Assassin.

-PS: I am dealing with a limited card pool, the first two cycles and LOTR saga expansion, if there is anyone who has cards from later releases that could improve this concept, feel free to improve :)
