A solo deck meant to maximize the potential for Roheryn.
Use the quick setup potential of Denethor and Erestor to get Aragorn a Tactics icon (Roheryn is preferred but Song of Battle will work), to play Gondorian Fire.
Once Aragorn has Roheryn, Fire, and Steward, you are good to go. Use as many doomed effects as you need, since you are the only player and you also have a threat reset button with Aragorn.
In a solo game you will generally not see more than one enemy per round. During the encounter phase, optionally engage this enemy and kill it instantly with Roheryn. Once set up, you should never have to defend an attack, so this deck is very focused on getting set up quickly.
The willpower options are a little scarce in Lore/Leadership, so you might struggle for a few rounds, but eventually your ally army will build up and you should be able to push through the quest stages.
Note: If you are forced to discard a Gondorian Fire by Erestor because you don't have a Tactics icon yet, make sure it's the last card you discard at the end of the round so that your Erebor Hammersmith can pick it back up the following round.

Sep 19, 2016Yeah, Legacy of Numenor could replace Captain's Wisdom to leave Denethor available as a defender for certain quests. |
May 21, 2017I love the idea behind this deck! In testing though I agree with your comments about it sometimes being slow on questing so I thought I would build a deck around Roheryn, Sword of Númenor and Gondorian Fire with spirit allies. Here's the deck:- ringsdb.com I pretty much dismissed Sword of Númenor as a useful card until I saw it in action in your video. 5 hit point enemies aren't uncommon nowadays and it's scary how often it triggers and gives you 2 resources. |

Awesome deck. What do you think of cards like Sword that was Broken and Legacy of Númenor in here?
