The concept here is to cycle through the deck drawing armor for beregond and weapons and gear for argalad. The combo of sentinel / ranged should make this fairly versatile when paired with another deck in a fellowship

i you want Argalad primarily or ranged and not his ability (your description let asume that) then there are much better options, either:

for the Legolas soloution stand, that you have acces to Will of the West what is allways a good cards for Erestor -decks

overall, and specially i you include Will of the West would add cards that let you go faster through your deck:

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try these out and see if they improve the experience. You are correct that Argalad is not a key to this deck, but I will say in play testing that having access to two lore resources a turn right away certainly seems to be helpful, thus the reason I was hoping to go with a lore ranged hero.

even if you want to stay on 2 lore 1 tactic (cannot see why, but is your deck ;) ) then Haldir of Lórien would be better, and his ability in multiplayer mostly usable.
