Unlike the vast majority of my published decks, this is the deck that I most typically use in a group (that is, a group of two). While my fiancee's deck has a Silvan theme with a focus on questing, this is my attempt to fill in the combat needs.
Éowyn is sort of the elephant in the room regarding that role: in one hand, she is a relic. I tried using Herugrim with her, but the 3 cost was just too high and it never made much of a difference. Still, I enjoy the option to generate some extra willpower, and the option to pitch useless cards for panic quest power is always welcome. Aside from that, access to Unexpected Courage and cancellation is tremendously helpful. Light of Valinor can be used on Legolas for an extra willpower, but it usually goes on Haldir of Lórien so that he can quest and still toss an arrow after.
Beregond is a blocking wizard. With Gondorian Shield and Arwen Undómiel, he is virtually untouchable. He'll always get one Unexpected Courage, possibly two if the situation calls for big blocks.
Legolas with bows makes for a solid attacker, supplemented by ally damage. Really not much to say; the deck isn't overly nuanced, but we've achieved a fair bit of success.
The deck looks nice, but I think if you Switch spheres between Eowyn and Beregond is better. Tactics Eowyn and Spirit Beregond are far superior to those respectives old versions, imo.
