Nov 30, 2022Should definitely not cut other Forlong, lest I draw the 1 into my hand and can't use it for MotK. The deck plans on being used for campaign with 4 of us, so legacy of Numenor is a big no-no. Without Legacy, Rod feels like it might be too much of a mana suck for the mana I need. I suppose I could drop the watchmen if I can find a better replacement for it. |
Dec 01, 2022Unless the other decks bring cards like Beravor or Gléowine to give you card draw. I think you will quickly run out of cards. Regarding the second Forlong, I had never seen a deck where anyone took the official ruling seriously. It makes no sense for the contract to miss occasionally. Many people don't even include a single copy of the ally in their deck. Typically, it is just set aside. If you wanted to make the deck a bit more unique, you could add Pillars of the Kings, Angbor the Fearless, and Favor of the Valar. However, I suppose this will work alright currently. Outlands is certainly strong enough. |
I would max Lord of Morthond and add Legacy of Númenor and Rod of the Steward. Then, cut Sword of Morthond, the other Forlong, and White Tower Watchman.
