This deck has been designed for a thematic two-player LotR saga play-through. This particular deck has been built with the scenario 'A Shadow of the Past' in mind. It's worth noting that this has been built with a very limited card pool and only contains cards from: 1 old core, The Black Riders and The Road Darkens.
The basic design of this deck is to have decent card-draw and the usual Hobbit Cloak and Dagger of Westernesse attachments for Sam Gamgee and Merry. I thought I'd experiment with using Elf-stone to get the expensive Boromir and Faramir allies into play. I've thrown in a Citadel Plate which would hypothetically go on Boromir if I accrued enough resources.

Dec 30, 2022Citadel Plate can't go on Boromir as plate says specifically to play on a hero. There are some ways of increasing his health (and to make him a hero, but not in the limited card pool you're working with. In the short term, I'd recommend making Sam Gamgee your defender, with the Cloak he's quite resilient |

3 Boromirs is probably too much, I would take out at least one and the Citadel Plate for any of your two cost tactics allies - Veteran Axehand, Galadhon Archer.
To get a bit more card draw for Protector of Lorien, I would swap the Ever Vigilants for Valiant Sacrifice. Since you have Elrond in your other deck that can theoretically discard condition attachments, I'd be tempted to switch the Miner of the Iron hills for a second Hammersmith since he is just better and both of your decks have attachments you wouldn't want to lose.
