The Thematic Saga begins!

In this series I am trying to use as many thematic cards as possible as I play the Lord of the Rings Saga quests in order, in a modified campaign mode. The modification is that I will not be raising my threat if I swap heroes in-between quests.
This was my first deck I built for this series and looking back, I wish I had not included a couple cards, but what is done is done. I think I could have made this even more thematic but my old habits kicked in and I included some 'Hobbit-helper' cards that I always use. If I were to build this again I would swap Bill the Pony for a Hobbit Pony and drop Sword-thain. I included Sword-thain because Sam is always a hero in my mind.
For this build we focus on the sturdiness of Hobbits as Frodo Baggins makes his way across The Shire with Pippin and Sam Gamgee. Frodo has Gathered some Information about a Shadow of the Past and Sam's Love of Tales (and his part in the conspiracy) clued him in on the peril of The One Ring. The hobbits have some cloaks and walking sticks as they travel. They left not a moment too soon as Gaffer Gamgee interacts with a Black Rider as they begin their journey.
As Frodo travels he encounters Gildor Inglorion and a group of elves. The travelers are given food and drink. Eventually they meet up with Merry and his pony.
(MotK) Rosie Cotton is here as a hero to represent the The Shirefolk as a whole. One of the major themes of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit is how the sturdiness and steadfastness of hobbits is essential when it comes to resisting the temptation of The One Ring. Rosie's ability to use Hobbit to boost stats is a perfect representation of this Hobbit characteristic. The bonds of friendship depicted between all the hobbits (with a few exceptions...I am looking at you Sandyman!), plays such an important role in this story that is seemed very thematic to have Rosie helping Frodo and company as they began their journey.
Rosie will build up her willpower with songs to aid Frodo in hiding from Black Riders and to quest over the threat of the them as they search for The Ring.
