navarrenightblade 23

This is a deck intended to take on the E-F series of quest cards in Siege of Annuminas. It was built to work in conjunction with Nerdanelthered's "Anger Management" deck, as well as Seastan's and Morgothsfoot's Annuminas decks.

The deck is fairly straightforward: the goal is to use Brand son of Bain to ready Aragorn in the "Anger Management" deck. With that deck playing Hour of Wrath on Brand every turn, you can continually have both Brand and Aragorn ready during the attack phase, potentially wiping out all the enemies while only having to defend one of them.

Besides avoiding defenses, this strategy also allows you to get the ever-important quest progress in Annuminas when you attach Blade of Gondolin to Brand; with 2 blades, you can easily get 8-10 progress through Brand killing stuff.

Also instrumental to this strategy is keeping threat low so that enemies can stay in the staging area until they are engaged with Aragorn's effect. Secret Vigil can be played on the first turn or at the beginning of the third stage; at other points it's trickier to play since you should be able to wipe out all enemies each turn. The Galadhrim's Greeting, Double Back, and Galadriel's Handmaiden can also help to lower the threat of all players. With threat under control, Unseen Strike becomes quite useful for tough enemies like the Hosts of Angmar.

Otherwise, you want to quest with this deck using strong questing allies like Ethir Swordsman and West Road Traveller.

Opening Hand Typically, you will want to get some questing allies in your hand; questing is hardest in the early game, and you need to get some willpower on the board early if you want to trigger the bonus effects in Stage 1. Blade of Gondolin is also good to see in the opening hand to make early progress.
