I've been tinkering with the idea of a functional Followed trap deck for a while now. This is the best one I came up with.
The basic idea is to have some high threat enemies engaged with you, while they are also being Followed.
To also deal with their constant attacks you will want to neuter them with Forest Snare, Subdued, Entangling Nets and Outmatched.
Grimbeorn the Old is a pretty nice self-contained defensive hero, that can also attack back in a pinch.
Feel free to add the horribly unthematic Captain of Gondor to get even more out of his effect or replace him with any other Tactics defensive hero.
Damrod is the main star of any trap deck of course. Not much to say about him.
With the constant influx of traps being added by Master of the Forge, Haleth and Erebor Hammersmith you get some surprisingly insane drawpower midgame.
Beravor, I am not fully sure about. Ideally Beravor lets you draw the rest of your deck mid to late game once you have searched most of your attachments.
The draw 2 can also help with a bad hand in early game but then questing will be an issue.
Leather Boots and Wingfoot are here to have Beravor quest and draw most rounds. Just 1 copy of each though since you will find them pretty early anyway.
Alternative tech option is including Messenger of the King and replacing Beravor with (MotK) Haleth but I've gotten kinda tired of having to manually set up MotK heroes in DragnCards lately so I've been omitting them in my decks for now.
In theory any other Lore hero would also work in this spot tbh. Maybe try out Celador or Mirlonde.
Solo or Multiplayer?
When playing solo, there is a real risk of getting location locked. Especially if not a single enemy decides to come out of the encounter deck.
Still, I've managed to get quite a few wins during the solo trial runs I've did with the deck.
I would recommend playing that deck with at least one other player though and have the other player focusing on those locations or getting enough willpower to push through until enough enemies have come your way.
Beravor and Grimbeorn the Old also provide some good group utility that just goes wasted when playing solo.
