As discussed on the Cardboard of the Rings Presents podcast feed, here is one of the decks I will be bringing to Con of the Rings 2023!

This one is my crowning achievement of stupidity for the Con this year. More meme than deck, this is the alt art deck that is full of references to arguments that Bardlee and I made over the run of our Tardy Takes show on the CotR Presents feed.

As far as the deck goes, Bond of Friendship is a broken mistake that should have never been printed, so it is still pretty decent despite being a hodgepodge of cards that were included for the reference more than their power level. Frodo Baggins is just a great BoF hero in general, helping keep threat low enough and readying the best character on the table each round (shoutout to the singleton ally Elrond).

The deck kinda sucks at defense, so hopefully someone else has some Sentinel, but it does quest and kill things engaged with it fairly well and I can hopefully pass a copy of Justice Shall Be Done with Message from Elrond again this year and convince someone (Bardlee) to knock themselves out of the game.

I probably won't lose us the game, but I probably won't win it for us either. So if you want to relive great moments like Wilyador's GoFundMe campaign, Arod's steroid use, Ranger Spikes and how much I hate the Green Power Ranger or just want to see me discard a Loyal Hound for no real reason other than that I can, be sure to try to get in a game with this stupid alt-art deck.
