This deck is built for the Angmar Awakened campaign using only a revised Core Set and cards from the Angmar Awakened hero expansion. Given the limited card pool, I'm also playing the campaign using Easy mode and the Grace of the Valar variant.
Piloting
Ideally your starting hand will have Steward of Gondor for Denethor. Forest Snare is good to see early, but you want it to go on the right enemy. Wraith of Carn Dum or Cursed Dead are ideal. The Dread Realm campaign card let's you search for a boon. If you don't have Orders from Angmar get that. If you do, Rivendell Skirmishers is a good second choice. They basically act like a Forest Snare keeping an enemy Cursed Dead or Witch from Angmar blocked without any worry of shadow effects.
The big plan is to stall on stage 1 and get Beechbone with a Self Preservation and a good amount of willpower ready. Then advance to Stage 2. Beechbone because of his ability can ensure you're removing at least 1 Sorcery card from play every turn. Fornost Bowman if you have a couple enemies trapped will help with overcoming Daechnar's 5 defense to get rid of 2 in play or just defeat him ASAP. In Easy mode, it should be doable in 1 - 2 rounds. Sneak Attack + Gandalf for his direct damage is also a good play here.
If you built up your board state during Stage 1, you should be able to YOLO quest with everyone to clear Stage 3 in a single quest phase. My winning game, I quested for 46 to clear Altar of MIdwinter, 2 Dark Halls, and an Unholy Crypt in one shot.
