kattattack22 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Deadman's Dike Party - Revised Card Pool Minimum Purchase

This deck is built for the Angmar Awakened campaign using only a revised Core Set and cards from the Angmar Awakened hero expansion. Given the limited card pool, I'm also playing the campaign using Easy mode and possibly the Favor of the Valar variant.

Piloting

Steward of Gondor goes on Denethor because the Lore cards are expensive. Denethor also gets the first Unexpected Courage at least. This so he can possibly defend twice or more importantly to manipulate the encounter deck. There's no shadow cancellation by default but he can look at the top card before defending to try and get a safer shadow card. Chump blocking is also viable with Snowbourn Scouts, Curious Brandybucks, or even Ranger of Cardolan. Plus there is Sneak Attack + Gandalf or Sneak Attack + Beorn for more defense options. Beorn could become a regular defender if put into play by Stand and Fight.

Halbarad will quest when there is an enemy engaged. Otherwise he can be held back for secondary defender or as an attacker. Halbarad combined with the other rangers in the deck are the primary source of attack power. Gandalf's direct damage might be needed for some tougher enemies like Orc War Party.
