Pirate Brahm 1062

I play a lot of two-handed solo, so I regularly find myself pairing a combat deck with a Spirit/Lore questing deck that needs a little protection. Here is a Leadership deck that uses Elfhelm and Armored Destrier to buff and ready up Aragorn and Amarthiúl while providing plenty of surprises for any enemies stupid enough to engage with the players. There's a big focus on sentinel defense and archery in this deck, along with sneaky allies popping into play at just the right time.

Aragorn should get Roheryn to immediately bring his sentinel defense up to 3 and attack to 4 (now that he has a tactics icon). If Roheryn hits the table first, Steward of Gondor goes onto Aragorn. He also gets Armored Destrier, Rivendell Bow, and Celebrían's Stone when they come up.

Amarthiúl turns into a 4/4 defense/attack as soon as he gets his first mount. You should consider putting the first Armored Destrier on him. He also gets the Dúnedain Cache and Dúnedain Signal to give him sentinel and archery.

Elfhelm's mostly just there to quest, but I guess he could get the third Armored Destrier if you're lucky enough to draw it.

Take advantage of Sneak Attack and Reinforcements to bounce Gandalf, Greenwood Archer, Marksman of Lórien into play. Ready heroes, draw cards, reduce threat, reduce defense, deal damage, rinse, repeat. Mono Leadership is amazing that way.

Readying comes from Descendants of Kings and Strength of Arms.

Galadriel gets those horsies into play, helps with questing, and sets you up for success. It's a shame you can't bounce her, but she's still pretty powerful by herself.

If you want to have a lot of fun, pair this deck with a trap deck. I suggest Damrod's Fun Run (http://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/3997/damrod-s-fun-run-1.0).
