I've always loved the Eagle archetype and have been constantly fine-tuning this Eagle deck, heavily inspired by MDuckworth83's fantastic The Brown Wizard deck. I started with Grimbeorn the Old, then Éomer, and now Legolas. I've found that his ability is much better than what I originally thought, especially since this deck isn't drowning in . Also, being able to kill an enemy revealed from the encounter deck with Hands Upon the Bow is extremely satisfying.
The original deck had Grimbeorn the Old as the main defender, but I've found that shadow effects can hurt this deck. With Radagast's 3 and access to A Burning Brand, I decided to make him my main defender.
As a final note, I don't have physical copies of Eagle Emissary or Wilyador, which is why they're on the sideboard.
