This is a Gondor Swarm deck designed to, but not required to, play with a Rohan deck. It makes use of numerous resource accelerators like Denethor, Captain's Wisdom, Herald of Anórien, and of course Steward of Gondor to provide a strong first turn showing (and frequently empties its starting hand). The overall goal is to either blitz the deck before it has time to build up or to support a slower ally deck while they build up.
Beregond is the target for Armored Destrier and Blood of Númenor of course, with Denethor being a good secondary target if extras show up. If possible, Beregond should block for your partner deck and allow your threat to reach 40 to activate Veteran of Osgiliath.
Denethor's ability should be used to feed extra resources to Beregond to fuel Blood of Númenor. Errand-rider is used to send them the other direction when needed for card play, Rod of the Steward or to support a partner deck.
