Premise
My take on a thematic end deck, utiizing the characters most in touch with them in the books. Finding a thematic herolienup with Ents isn't easy since Treebeard is of course their main hero, however the ally is the cornerstone of their archetyp. I therefore decided that it is more thematic using him in his ally version for the deck.
The deck will perform better in multiplayer than in solo since questing - especially early on - isn't overly great. The Dam Bursts is a card that would not make the cut in a deck geared towards power, it is quite a nice theme-orientated include though (and actually decent with A Very Good Tale. A Very Good Tale is really fun to pair with Treebeard as well, both because of his ability and the thematic connection since there is perhaps noone in the source material that enjoys telling a tale more than Treebeard.
How To Play
I look for Treebeard early on. Narya and Gandalf's Staff are always very useful as well.
Considerations
If you want more draw, look to Peace, and Thought and Expert Treasure-hunter. Man the Walls, Campfire Tales and Leather Boots become very attractive prospects in higher player counts.
Enjoy!!!
