Premise

A mono-tactics deck that fits into the Rohan theme only very broadly, but I still included it, especially because of the hero lineup and their very thematic connection through the source material. It is incredibly simple to play - you quest with your heroes (only sometimes holding Théoden back for combat) and some of your higher willpower allies, with your allies handling the lions-share of combat. Hirgon lets you pick and choose which allies you need for which situation (post-questing), as well as providing a nice (and needed) cost reduction.

How To Play

There is no one specific card I mulligan for, cards I do like to see early on however is a defender (like Déorwine, Treebeard or Defender of Rammas) as well as some draw (preferably through Legolas or Gather Information). From there on, you pretty much just play what is in front of you, profiting from your efficient heroes, useful events and The Burglar's Turn (which can often solve a lot of your problems).

Considerations

Bofur I can see being included if you are really struggling with questing, I never included him however to be honest. The other allies gain a lot of value in higher player counts and should be considered there. Oath of Eorl can be yet another great include to avoid enemy attacks - in solo it is somewhat overkill however.

Enjoy!!!
