This deck is part of a two-deck Fellowship used to play Flight to the Ford for the Cardboard of the Rings Quest of the Week.
The Fellowship description contains details of the quest playthrough and campaign mode information.
This quest requires the heroes to escort the Ring-bearer to Rivendell following his Evil Wound at the hands of the Witch-king. The main feature of the quest is the time pressure from the Ring-bearer's life ticking down every turn, and all the obstacles thrown at you to slow you down.
As a campaign deck, the hero choices were largely already made. For this quest I moved to a hero lineup of Aragorn, Círdan the Shipwright, and Éowyn.
This deck is a race, so 10 starting is a huge help. Similarly, Éowyn's attack ability is great for seeing off one of the starting Nazgûl.
Elessar is for Aragorn's Setup ability to provide sphere access, with Estel hopefully following very soon to start flying through the deck. With all his gear, Aragorn is the deck's card draw engine, resource generator, booster, and combat supporter all in one. He can even call upon discounte Grey Companions and Rangers of Cardolan.
This deck contains Light of Valinor which is for playing on Glorfindel in the partner deck. Similarly, The Renewer is in the partner deck to be played on Aragorn.
