This deck is part of a two-deck Fellowship used to play Breaking of the Fellowship for the Cardboard of the Rings Quest of the Week.
The Fellowship description contains details of the quest playthrough and campaign mode information.
This quest depicts the journey of the company down the River Anduin to Amon Hen, where the Fellowship breaks. The quest features tough Uruk-hai enemies and separate quest Stages for the finale.
As a campaign deck, the hero choices were largely already made. For this quest Glorfindel is joined by Merry, primarily so he can get captured at the end, and a Messenger of the King, Galdor of the Havens. Galdor's ability well supports the Noldor discard archetype without me needing to commit to a permanent hero for the Campaign.
This deck is built as a Noldor deck, with To the Sea, to the Sea!, Elven-light, and Galdor enabling a strong swarm of elven allies. Lords of the Eldar allows the deck to power through anything the encounter deck can muster.
Elrond is here to combat nasty Condition attachments, particularly Fallen into Evil, which I do not want in play at the end of the game.
