A handy deck to have for a Saga campaign playthrough. Played with a Forth, The Three Hunters! Gandalf/Gimli/Legolas deck (not published) in Breaking of the Fellowship and Uruk-hai.
The two decks were designed to quest heavily and prevent the pursuit timer from going too high. It's a classic tower of Sam Gamgee deck meant to keep him agile and able to take hits of up to 5. Treebeard is a good archery soak. Sword-thain your Rosie Cotton ASAP and get a Fast Hitch on her when you can. She keeps Sam going and with Sting allows him to take average enemies down. Reserve Merry's ability to keep threat low.
If you can, a Resourceful on either Frodo Baggins(any version) or Aragorn(any version) helps to pay for expensive fellowship cards like Frodo's Intuition, Fellowship of the Ring, The Three Hunters, or Aragorn's ability to ready heroes.
