This is my Version of Seastan's 'Captain of the Dunedain'-Deck, which I really like.

There are quests in the Angmar cycle, where Amarthiul is an objective ally so I needed to have a alternative Dunedain-Deck. I chose Halbarad and also changed some cards as a result of my experinces.

For example I missed healing to react to the bad weather in Arnor or to some mean shadow-effects. Ioreth is my cheap solution. Furthermore I never used Heir of Valandil so I kicked out both copies. I swapped the Guardian of Arnor with the Ranger of Cardolan because he is more playable in a three sphere deck.

Update: Tried this one at Helms Deep, replaced Aragorn with Beravor and it worked well.

@Benedikt maybe Dunedain Pathfinder? I really like that card along with a few location control effects. 2 willpower for 0 cost in my experience so far has been a pretty sweet deal. Also, it seems that you are prioritizing defending and not killing enemies, partly because of the Dunedain theme and also because you don't have a big finisher besides Gandalf. Given that, have you considered Guardian of Arnor? It is cheaper than Ranger of Cardolan and seems to be more in line with what your deck is trying to achieve.

Just thoughts though, I really like your list as is it's pretty creative.

@D4rkWolf10 The Dunedain Pathfinder looks great, but I don't own cards from the Harad-Cycle. I had the Guardian of Arnor in the list (and he is still in the sideboard), but I always played him at a very late point of the game, when there is now problem with resources, but in the early game I wasn't able to play him. The big problem is to play the Sword that was Broken, Steward of Gondor and Celebrían's Stone on Aragorn to let the deck flow. In this time I can't spend resources for other leadership cards. Maybe that's why I also dropped out Heir of Valandil.

For anyone else looking for a thematic Dunedain deck against the Angmar Awakended cycle, I just played through it for the first time and had great success with this deck. I was able to beat most quests in 1-3 tries, with Carn Dum taking 4.

Only change I made was adding East Road Ranger for the side quest-heavy quests. I swapped in Amarthiúl for the last 2 quests, just for theme/story.
