something to consider

  • for Onward Into Battle you need the warrior trait and a 2-card-combo for together 3 res is not worth it
  • Strider is nearly of no use for you (you have 3 heroes and soon 5 or more characters)
  • Resourceful is usually only worth if you have secrecy (that means thraed of maximium of 20) or can otherwise get it into play for less of its costs

that for the "rules"-part something i would change and consider:

thematic issued:

would not use Steward of Gondor when everything else is so thematic. with Golden Crown (would increase to 3) and The Day's Rising and the ability of Alagos you have 3 options for additional res, that might be enough

so overall my modifikations would be:

out:

in:

for readying i would then include to fill the remaining 6 slots:

this readying/avoid attack is far more early availaible than the 2-card-3-cost-combo and the critical phase is early in the game.

specially with Sneak Attack around i would strongly consider Gandalf you coul replace Favor of the Valar with him (threadreduction would remain the same and other options in addition)

hope you apriciate this. and btw. including The Day's Rising is really cool here.

Thanks, @doomguard for the thorough and insightful analysis. I incorporated a lot of your feedback, as well as some comments from a friend who play-tested the first version. See v7.1 to see the adopted changes.
