Grimbeorn the Old is already well known and I think this deck can get from im all the best.
Combining him with Elfhelm / Armored Destrier makes him a better defender and attacker at the same time, as can control and counter attack two enemies on the same phase with a 4.
The star of the deck. Full equipe can have up to 5, 4 and 7 with the possibility of using his counterattack two times each rounf. A beast...
The idea is going for Steward of Gondor asap on Grimbeorn and start building him from there. With Captain of Gondor you can give an extra and to Grimbeorn, as you can always decide to engage an enemy before the checks even if he was going to engage you. Vigilant Guard for the extra hit points, Gondorian Shield for the 2 extra and Raven-winged Helm and the Honour Guard will allow you to avoid a lot of damage each turn, indirect or direct.
A very balanced hero which grant acces to and can also make use of the second Armored Destrier and the second Vigilant Guard, getting another possible defender with 3 and 6 .
Here for her , her low initial threat. Also her active ablity is very useful with some strog enemies. Belonging also to the allows to build the board quicker than with her counterpart.
As this deck lacks a bit on threat reduction and card drawing, Gandalf is an important piece on this matter, with a little help from Legolas.
