Please keep in mind that I don't own the 6 packs from the Haradrim cycle nor the Vengeance of Mordor cycle/Deluxe set and I don't use the cards that I don't have access to.
If you draw Steward of Gondor before Rod of the Steward, play it on Eowyn so that she can take advantage of Gondorian Discipline in case of emergency. Otherwise play it on Hirgon.
Denethor gives all his resources to heroes, he just needs a few to play Valiant Sacrifice.
Best case scenario is to have Legolas and Steward of Gondor in your opening hand.
I didn't find the slot for Warrior Sword, but it works great with Legolas and Boromir.
