Darkling Door 6446
This is a deck built from just Core Set + The Lost Realm cards. It was originally intended to be used against Deadmen's Dike for the Path Less Traveled series on my blog, but it didn't quite have enough defensive ability to be successful there.
Still, it was a fun deck, and it might work well against other quests, so I figured I would post it here.
Strategy
The trick here is not to fall into the trap of trying to keep a bunch of extra Enemies around longer than necessary. With no healing, Halbarad can't defend forever, so I quickly have to fall back on chump blocking as my primary defensive strategy, which burns itself out fast.
The good news is that Warden of Annúminas and Northern Tracker actually have pretty good combat stats for Allies, so they can help out defending or attacking in a pinch. Steward of Gondor usually goes on Éowyn to help her afford to bring these guys out ASAP.
Would trading eowyn for Beregond be a good idea
