Quick&dirty build for @wolframius during a discord chat using packs up to The Morgul Vale and one core set.

Typical Gondor swarm deck with a Lore twist.
Fill the board with cheap Gondor allies and buff them with Sword that was Broken, Visionary Leadership and Faramir.

Denethor is a strong defender with A Burning Brand and Gondorian Shield.

Master of the Forge should help you to draw the important attachments as soon as possible.

Sideboard

You can replace Denethor with Bifur and then add King Under the Mountain instead of A Burning Brand.

But imho this deck already has enaugh resource smoothing thanks to Errand-rider, Envoy of Pelargir and Pelargir Ship Captain so I don't think Bifur is necessary.

You could also remove some allies and add some traps or more lore events to help with the questing (like Radagast's Cunning).

Ever Vigilant combos nicely with Faramir as it allows you to use his ability twice, but it's fairly conditional so I didn't include it. It work better if your other deck includes other strong allies.

@wolframius Asfaloth sounds like a great addition!
I'd probably drop some allies (Citadel Custodian? Or maybe the Envoys if you want to keep them in your other deck.) to add two copies.
