After playing around with the idea of Éomer + Herugrim and Galadriel to attack and massacre enemies in the staging area (during the quest phase), it occurred to me that I could do similar things, albeit not as consistently but definitely super fun and interesting.

The plain and simple idea that this deck brings to the table is to kill your enemies before they attack. Whether it's in the staging area or engaged with you or another player. Additionally this deck can defend if the Derndingle Warrior is found, and it can do quite a bit of questing as well as keep threat down to avoid enemies and allow the player to engage when needed.

The downside to this deck is that it can't defend itself if there are many low threat enemies and that it relies rather heavily on Light of Valinor, Nenya and Elven-light. I find that if you have Light of Valinor and Elven-light, the card draw allows you to find Nenyafairly quickly most of the time. Also, other cards are easily discarded for Legolas and his ability, such as Glorfindel and any duplicates of unique cards.

If you can get ALL of the pieces in place Legolas can be used to assassinate a target any time he wants. Potentially, he could hit for 13 (during the quest phase). He would need two Mirkwood Long-knife's, to use Fair and Perilous and Hands Upon the Bow and by using Galadriel's ability. This can only be done during the quest phase due to Galadriel's ability only being available during that phase. If the Black Arrow is used, than he could do 18 total.

Although he can hit like a truck during the quest phase, he can still hit for 8 if he was to do the same combo during other phases or 9 with Hands Upon the Bow, which is not shabby in the least(13 or 14 with the Black Arrow).

Focusing and the rest of the deck, it is meant to re-use cards through the Galadhrim Weaver's shuffling the top card of your discard into your deck or through Dwarven Tomb. Another good combo I found is to Island Amid Perils's your Galadhrim Weaver's back into your hand before playing another card like Hands Upon the Bow or Quick Strike, allowing the player to keep re-using your attack cards for Legolas. Dwarven Tomb I usually use for Fair and Perilous, but there are plenty of other cards that are targetable if need be.

Cheers!

Hmm. . . I wonder if a combo could be achieved here with Battle-Fury (and Nor am I a Stranger).

@Wandalf the Gizzard, I don't think I understand what you mean, could you enlighten me?

I just meant Legolas could the same trick that Eomer does with his ability, but with Battle-Fury. Herugrim (but then you'd need Nor am I a Stranger) would boost help boost his attack with Galadriel and Nenya.

@Wandalf the Gizzard With Light of Valinor I am pulling the same trick by using Fair and Perilous in combination with Quick Strike, Hands Upon the Bow or Battle-fury. All of these can be used in the quest phase and when I commit him to the quest he doesn't exhaust due to Light of Valinor and then I can take an action to use one or two of the above mentioned cards. I honestly don't need Battle-fury's secondary ability unless I don't have Light of Valinor out.

I feel this is much easier to do this than trying to find Herugrim and Nor am I a Stranger. Especially since I would not be able to have 2 Mirkwood Long-knife's on Legolas due to the Restricted keyword, but that's just me.
