KaiserWilly has a newer deck inspired by this one: Flight to the Toolbox (Wrath and Ruin Edition)

This has been my go to solo deck for while, and has triumphed through nightmares and some of the harder normal quests in the game. I find it fun to play as it has lots of tool and doesn't rely on one combo or janky tricks (if you don't count spending threat like candy then dumping it). It has preformed similarly well in multiplayer and I have a complimentary Gimli, Eowyn , and Haldir Deck that made short work of Ruins of Belegost.

Notable solo wins include Siege of Cair Andros, Road to Rivendale (Nightmare), All 3 Lost Realm Deluxe (Nightmare), All of the Haradim Cycle, Battle of Laketown

Notable loses Carn Dum, Dread Realm, Solo Ruins of Belegost and Assault on Dol Guldor

In the opening hand you're looking for some card draw, there's so much of it here that anything works. Elf-stone and Ancient Mathom do a lot of work, so the Dunedain Pathfinder makes sure you have a target. Asfaloth, Heirs of Earendil and Northern Tracker make sure you can aggressively handle locations.

An ideal early game will see one the big allies come out via Elf-stone. For defense, in the Frodo is your guy while Aragorn gets set up with his tools. Once Strider has A Burning Brand and Protector of Lórien he is basically invulnerable. All the Unexpected Courages go onto him and will enable some real fun with Tale of Tinúviel. Aragorn's also the best target of the Magic Ring as all 3 options will be viable for him.
